Although the vehicle was created in the late 1930s, I was greatly inspired by the 1920's aesthetic. Somewhere in the middle of Europe, a gangster's car is parked in the middle of the street awaiting his rivals and blockading their escape route.
I created the model of the car separately and later decided to put it into an environment.
This piece was a great challenge because it was the very first time I attempted to do an exterior piece. The rain, which in my opinion, made the entire mood and story come to life, was a last-minute decision which was made with the help of Nuke.
